Bi tet restaurant...

Hi Marilyn, I don't know offhand the name or address of the bi tet place, I just know that it's townwards of my hometel which is 256 Nghi Tam, but over the next couple of days I will make a trip and find out for you.  If you want an even better steak they have Australian bi tet at a slighly higher price.

  1. thanks ngaire- that would be great- sometimes we just gotta revert to our own food (especially after a week or two)

  2. No problems, if you want really nice bread try the Donkey Bakery. They have a great range of european type breads including sourdough and a wicked dark rye. Check out the website www.donkeybakery.com . Its also a socially responsible business so each time you buy you are helping...cool eh?

  3. thank you for that- it sounds very cool- and i've never even heard of it.

i always try to eat in this sort of place- always at least once a trip in KOTO, Hoa Sua and the new restaurant in HoiAn so this will make a nice addition.\

how do you feel about being in Hanoi at Christmas- are you making any chrissie puds?

  5. Hey Mal,
Yes we are, with a Vietnamese bent, we're using some dried tropical fruits in the mix too. We are also making mince tarts and gingerbread beach babes.
By the way that Bi Tet place is called Bo 212, and unsurprisingly it's at 212 Nghi Tam. I'm going there again tonight, taking my pal Amanda for the first time so hopefully it will measure up to my praise.
